UPDATED ALERT

We published an alert on vishing several months ago. We have now had reports from our customers that they have received automated phone calls that are vishing calls. We have sent the following letter to our customers in response:

From: DUGWAY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

Date: August 26, 2008

It has come to our attention that an automated system (identifying itself as a financial institution) is contacting credit card holders to retrieve personal information.

If you are contacted by phone (e-mail, etc.) and asked to input your credit card number and/or pin, DO NOT DO IT!!!! Do not give any personal information. Your information will be compromised and you will be at risk of financial loss.

If you have been contacted in this manner and have submitted any personal information, it is recommended that you contact your financial institution IMMEDIATELY!
